Goals & Supplements

Today is Monday, so it's back to work for me. I work in retail so I'm constantly on my feet for my 8-9 hours a day. So I do get a pretty good workout while I'm there. I've always been a bigger girl but while I was at a call center, I went up to my highest weight of 219lbs. I am now down to 202.8 and a size 15 pants, however my goal is to reach between 150 to 160. I know that it's not realistic to lose that amount of weight in 90 days, but the 90 days is just a time frame to get started within. I know I will have to work hard, but I am more than up for the challenge this time. Goals are important to make, that way you know where you want to be and just need to pave a path to it.

I have been going back and forth as to whether I should take a supplement to give me an edge on my weight and fat loss and I have decided to go ahead with it. I have decided to take CLA capsules from ALLMAX Nutrition. CLA capsules are some of the only ones I've heard any shred of evidence with helping you achieve your goals. CLA capsules are meant to help reduce body fat, improve body shape and reduce hunger. If all their claims turn out to be correct, this would be a wonderful supplement to use. One bottle is a 30 day supply, I will use those and then decide from there as to whether I will continue for the entire 90 days or stop the pills after the 30 days. The directions for use on the package as well as their website states that you should take 1 pill, 3 times daily, immediately before each meal. I will follow that as directed and weigh myself on a weekly basis to let you know how everything is progressing.

I have done my BMI (body mass index) and gotten my results back. For those of you who aren't familiar with BMI, it calculates your height and weight, it tells you where you are and where you should be. I am 5 foot 7 and 202.8 lbs, that puts me in at 31.8 on the scale. A healthy range should be 18.5 to 24.9. That puts me in the obese category which can lead to serious complications with my health. I am aiming for mid-range because I know that due to bone mass and muscle mass that the results may not be entirely accurate. This gives me a point to jump off and aim for.

Let's see how my day goes.
